Three-wicket hauls from Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Saim Ayub's two-wickets helped to Pakistan narrow 11-run victory over Bangladesh and secure their place into the final in a low-scoring Super Four game of a T20 Asia Cup.

  • Pakistan's 11-run win was their smallest victory by terms of runs against Bangladesh in T20 international, previous narrowest win by 21-runs at Christchurch in 2022 and 21-runs at Gros Islet in the 2010 World Twenty20 and It is their smallest win in T20 Asia Cup, previous smallest win by 41-runs against UAE at same venue earlier in tournament.
  • Pakistan's 138 was their joint fifth lowest score in a completed innings against Bangladesh in T20 international and It is their ninth lowest total at Dubai in T20Is.
  • Pakistan's 138 was fifth lowest score in a completed innings in T20 Asia Cup.
  • Bangladesh's 124 was their joint fifth lowest score in a completed innings against Pakistan in T20 international and It is their second lowest-total at Dubai in T20Is after their 73 against Australia in 2021.

Pakistan scored 135-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Haris cracked a 31 off 23-balls including 2-fours & a six.

Mohammad Nawaz blasted a 25 off 15-balls included 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 166.66, Salman Agha scored 19 off 23-balls included 2-fours and Shaheen Shah Afridi hit 19 off 13-balls contained 2-sixes with strike rate of 146.15.

Bangladesh best bowler by Taskin Ahmed picked up 3-wickets for 28-runs in 4-overs, Rishad Hossain, Mahedi Hasan both took 2-wickets and one for Mustafizur Rahman.

Bangladesh scored 124-9 in the allotted 20 overs with top scorer by Shamim Hossain hit 30 off 25-balls including 2-sixes.

Saif Hassan struck 18 off 15-balls including 2-sixes & a four, Rishad Hossain blasted a unbeaten 16 off 11-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 145.45 and Nurul Hasan scored 16 off 21-balls contained a six.

Pakistan best bowler by Shaheen Shah Afridi picked up 3-wickets, Haris Rauf captured three-wickets for 33-runs in 4-overs, Saim Ayub took 2-wickets and one for Mohammad Nawaz.

Shaheen Shah Afridi named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to picked up 3-wickets for 17-runs in 4-overs.
