Sachin Tendulkar struck 21 off 35-balls including 3-fours, Kiran More hit 20 off 27-balls included 2-fours and Manoj Prabhakar scored 17 off 39-balls contained a boundary.
Australia best bowler by Mike Whitney, Craig McDermott both captured 2-wickets, Steve Waugh, Bruce Reid and Peter Taylor each took one-wickets.
Australia chased 158-4 in 40.5 overs with top scorer by Allan Border cracked a 76 off 102-balls, Dean Jones cracked a unbeaten 63 off 119-balls including 3-fours & a six and David Boon scored 6 off 10-balls without a boundary.
India best bowler by Venkatapathy Raju captured 2-wickets, Kapil Dev claimed one-wicket for 12-runs in 6-overs including two maidens with economy rate of 2 and Manoj Prabhakar took one-wicket.
