Australia best bowler by Craig McDermott claimed a 4-wickets for 42-runs in 10-overs including two maidens, Mike Whitney, Paul Reiffel, Mark Waugh and Steve Waugh each took one-wickets.

A six off the last ball by batsman Asif Mujtaba enabled Pakistan to tie a thrilling World Series cricket match against Australia at Bellerive Oval.
Mujtaba shattered the Australian players and more than 10,200 fans when he smashed an unintentional full toss from Steve Waugh over the mid-wicket boundary to tie the game.
The gutsy batsman had been instrumental in getting Pakistan within sight of the Australian total of 228 after the tourists looked no chance of winning at 6-129 after nearly 38 overs.
At that stage, Pakistan needed 100 runs for victory-they scored 99. Pakistan finished at 9-228 with man-of-the match Mujtaba on 56 off 51 balls and Aaqib Javed on five. Australia lost seven wickets in scoring its 228 off 50 overs with Dean Jones leading the charge with 53 and Mark Taylor cracking 46.
Paceman Craig McDermott was the best Australian bowler, snaring 4-42 off 10 overs.
At the start of its innings, Pakistan needed a run rate of 4.56 for victory but by the start of the last over had to score 17 runs to win or 16 to tie.
Steve Waugh removed Mushtaq Ahmed for a duck with the first ball of the over but then had 16 smashed off his last five deliveries.
Aamer Sohail showed his skill as a fielder during the Australian innings when he ran out three top-order batsmen-Jones (53), Steve Waugh (26) and Damien Martyn (5).
Salim Malik top scored for Pakistan with 64 off 98 balls but his knock was overshadowed by Mujtaba.
There was confusion earlier in the day when the scoreboard showed Australia's innings total as 227.
But three independent scorers from radio, television and the Press scored Australia at 228, and the error was corrected.
Pakistan is now top of the table with three points and a run rate of 0.05. Australia also has three points and a run rate of-0.28, with the West Indies on two points and 0.22.
