Phil Simmons' second successive century steers to West Indies comfortable seven-wicket victory over South Africa and clinch their historic first 3-0 series whitewash against South Africa in a low-scoring game of the third & final ODI.

South Africa scored 189-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Kepler Wessels cracked a 45 off 77-balls including two boundaries.

Andrew Hudson hit 30 off 54-balls including 4-fours, Mark Rushmere scored 29 off 71-balls included 2-fours.

Peter Kirsten cracked a 28 off 50-balls including two-fours, Hansie Cronje hit a run-a-ball 23-runs included a six and David Richardson hit a unbeaten 17 off 18-balls without a boundary.

West Indies best bowler by Roger Harper, Winston Benjamin both took 2-wickets and one for Patrick Patterson.

West Indies chase down the target of 190 for 3 in 43 overs with top scorer by Phil Simmons struck 104 off 139-balls - which was his 4th ODI hundred and his second century against South Africa in ODIs.

Richie Richardson cracked a unbeaten 37 off 44-balls including 2-fours and Brian Lara scored 35 off 73-balls included 4-fours.

South Africa best bowler by Meyrick Pringle picked up 1-wicket for 6-runs in 5-overs including three maidens with economy rate of 1.20, Adrian Kuiper and Richard Snell both took one-wickets.
