Captain Martin Crowe's 94 and Mark Greatbatch half-century helped to New Zealand convincing four-wicket victory over Zimbabwe and clinch the two-match series with 2-0 whitewash in the second & final ODI.


Zimbabwe scored 271-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Grant Flower cracked a 63 off 93-balls including one-six & a four.

Andy Flower struck 56 off 70-balls including 4-fours, Mark Dekkar scored 55 off 63-balls included one-six & a four.

Dave Houghton hit 50 off 42-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 119.04 and Debutant Eboo Essop-Adam - wbo scored a unbeaten 14 off 15-balls on his debut ODI match - included a boundary.

New Zealand best bowler by Chris Harris captured two-wickets, Murphy Su'a, Dipal Patel and Willie Watson each took one-wickets.

New Zealand chase down the target of 272 for 6 in 46.5 overs with top scorer by Martin Crowe blasted a 94 off 87-balls, Mark Greatbatch cracked a 55 off 62-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours.

Rod Latham cracked a 40 off 41-balls including 4-fours, Ken Rutherford scored 37 off 62-balls included a boundary and Chris Harris hit a run-a-ball 16-runs contained 2-fours.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Eddo Brandes picked up 3-wickets, David Brain, Grant Flower both captured one-wickets and Debutant Ujesh Ranchod - who took one-wicket on his debut ODI match.

Martin Crowe named Player of the match for his match-winning captain innings of 94 off facing 87-balls including 8-fours & a six with strike rate of 108.04.
