Ibrahim Zadran's unbeaten 87 was the joint seventh highest score for Afghanistan in T20 international, jointly with Rahmanullah Gurbaz and the highest-score by an Afghanistan batsman against West Indies in T20Is, before this match previous highest was 79 by Rahmanullah Gurbaz at Lucknow in 2019. Darwish Rasooli's 84 was the joint ninth highest score for Afghanistan in T20 international, jointly with Mohammad Nabi and Rahmanullah Gurbaz and the second highest-score by an Afghanistan batsman against West Indies in T20Is. West Indies' 143 was their fourth highest score against Afghanistan in T20Is.

Afghanistan scored 181-3 in 20 overs with top scorer by Ibrahim Zadran hammered a unbeaten 87 off 56-balls including 8-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 155.35, Darwish Rasooli blasted a 84 off 59-balls  and the Sediqullah Atal scored 2 off 4-balls.

West Indies best bowler by Jayden Seales and Matthew Forde both took one-wickets.

West Indies scored 143-9 in the allotted 20 overs with top scorer by Debutant Quentin Sampson - who struck 30 off 24-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours.

Gudakesh Motie hammered a 28 off 15-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 186.66, Johnson Charles hammered a 27 off 16-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 168.75 and Matthew Forde hit 25 off 21-balls contained 2-fours & a six.

Afghanistan best bowler by Ziaur Rahman picked up 3-wickets for 36-runs in 4-overs, Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Noor Ahmad each took 2-wickets.

Darwish Rasooli named Player of the match for his sparkling batting performance to smashed a career-best 84 off facing 59-balls including 8-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 142.37 and his brilliant fielding to took three catches.
