  • Saeed Anwar became the fifth Pakistan batsman to scored four centuries in One-day internationals.
  • Saeed Anwar became the third Pakistan batsman to scored three centuries against Sri Lanka in ODIs after Saleem Malik (3) and Ramiz Raja. (3)
  • This is the seventh instance of Pakistan's two batsmen were scores of centuries or more runs in their innings in One-day international and It is their fourth such instance against Sri Lanka in ODIs.

Pakistan scored massive total of 313-3 in 50 overs with top scorer by Asif Mujtaba cracked a career-best unbeaten 113 off 134-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred.

Saeed Anwar struck 107 off 108-balls - which was his 4th ODI hundred and his third century against Sri Lanka in ODIs - including 11-fours & 2-sixes, Inzamam-ul-Haq blasted a 37 off 35-balls included 4-fours with strike rate of 105.71.

Basit Ali hammered a unbeaten 29 off 16-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 181.25 and Wasim Akram hit 15 off 11-balls contained 2-fours with strike-rate of 136.36.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Champaka Ramanayake took 2-wickets and one for Arjuna Ranatunga.

Sri Lanka scored 199-7 in the allotted 50 overs with top scorer by Sanath Jayasuriya struck 58 off 70-balls including 7-fours & a six.

Romesh Kaluwitharana cracked a 31 off 40-balls including a six, Arjuna Ranatunga hit a run-a-ball 24-runs included one-six & a four.

Hashan Tillakaratne hit 20 off 31-balls including a four and Ruwan Kalpage scored a unbeaten 16 off 49-balls without a boundary.

Pakistan best bowler by Wasim Akram captured two-wickets for 21-runs in 8-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 2.62, Mushtaq Ahmed took 2-wickets and one for Asif Mujtaba - Saleem Malik.

Asif Mujtaba named Player of the match for his career-best unbeaten 113-runs knocked off facing 134-balls including 5-fours.
