West Indies best bowler by Anderson Cummins picked up 3-wickets for 32-runs in 10-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 3.20.

Kenny Benjamin captured three-wickets for 34-runs in 9-overs included a maiden with economy rate of 3.77, Curtly Ambrose took two-wickets and one for Carl Hooper.

West Indies chase down the target of 173 for 2 in 46 overs with top scorer by Phil Simmons cracked a 92 off 161-balls - who fell eight-run short of his century, Richie Richardson hit a unbeaten 69 off 90-balls including 6-fours & a six and Brian Lara scored 5 off 24-balls without a boundary.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Asanka Gurusinha and Sanath Jayasuriya both took 1-wickets.

Phil Simmons named Player of the match for his match-winning classy 92 off 161-balls including 8-fours.
