Arjuna Ranatunga cracked a 85 off 83-balls including 6-fours, Roshan Mahanama struck 40 off 57-balls included 5-fours and Asanka Gurusinha scored 25 off 45-balls contained 2-fours.
Zimbabwe best bowler by David Brain picked up 3-wickets and one for Guy Whittall.
Zimbabwe bundled out for 105 in 48.1 overs with top scorer by Wayne James cracked a 29 off 62-balls without a boundary.
Mark Dekker retired hurt for 23 off consuming 109-balls without a boundary and John Rennie scored a unbeaten 20 off 49-balls without four.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Ravindra Pushpakumara picked up 3-wickets for 25-runs in 9-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 2.77.
Chaminda Vaas captured 2-wickets for 12-runs in 7-overs included two maidens with economy-rate of 1.71, Pramodya Wickramasinghe and Muttiah Muralitharan both took one-wickets.
Aravinda de Silva named Player of the match for his superb unbeaten 107-runs knocked off facing 100-balls including 9-fours & a six with strike rate of 107.
