West Indies scored 251-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Brian Lara cracked a 89 off 106-balls including 8-fours & a six.

Roland Holder hit a unbeaten 36 off 37-balls including one-six & a four, Phil Simmons cracked a 32 off 50-balls included 3-fours.

Keith Arthurton struck 27 off 37-balls including 2-fours and Stuart Williams scored 15 off 33-balls contained two-fours.

India best bowler by Anil Kumble picked up 3-wickets for 43-runs in 10-overs with economy rate of 4.30, Ajay Jadeja captured two-wickets and one for Chetan Sharma - Venkatapathy Raju.

India chase down the target of 252, finishing at 256 for 2 in 49.2 overs with top scorer by Ajay Jadeja cracked a 104 off 126-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred.

Sachin Tendulkar struck 88 off 112-balls including 10-fours, Vinod Kambli cracked a unbeaten 40 off 35-balls included 2-fours and Mohammad Azharuddin scored a unbeaten 17 off 18-balls contained contained a boundary.

West Indies best bowler by Courtney Walsh and Phil Simmons both took one-wickets.

Ajay Jadeja named Player of the match for his match-winning brilliant 103-runs knocked off facing 126-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes.
