Pakistan best bowler by Ata-ur-Rehman picked up 3-wickets for 27-runs in 3.5-overs, Saqlain Mushtaq captured three-wickets, Aaqib Javed and Waqar Younis both took 2-wickets.

Saqlain Mushtaq named Player of the match for his brilliant spin bowling performance to picked up 3-wickets for 46-runs in 7-overs.

Sanath Jayasuriya earned player of the series for contributing 217 runs with average of 72.33 in the tournament.
