In-Depth Match Highlights:

* A bizzare ending saw India and Zimbabwe tie their triangular series match in South Africa when Robin Singh was run out off the final ball as it was signalled wide.

* India needed two runs off the final delivery from Eddo Brandes, with the last pair at the wicket and Robin Singh on strike.

* Brandes delivered the ball down the leg-side and although Robin Singh was run out at the bowler's end, umpire Rudi Koertzen was already signalling the wide that made the scores level and ensured both sides took one point from a tie.

* If Robin Singh had stood at ground he would have had an extra ball from which to hit the single needed to win the match. It left India all-out for 236 in reply to Zimbabwe's 236 for eight.


Zimbabwe scored 236-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Alistair Campbell cracked a 61 off 70-balls Including 3-fours & a six.

Paul Strang struck 47 off 87-balls including 4-fours, Craig Evans hammered a 40 off 32-balls included 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 125 and Grant Flower hit 28 off 48-balls contained 3-fours.

India best bowler by Venkatesh Prasad picked up 3-wickets for 49-runs in 10-overs including a maiden, Anil Kumble took 2-wickets and one for Salil Ankola - Javagal Srinath.

India bowled out for 236 in 49.5 overs with top scorer by Robin Singh blasted a 48 off 31-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 154.83.

Saba Karim cracked a 38 off 46-balls including a boundary, Sourav Ganguly struck 38 off 79-balls included 3-fours.

Ajay Jadeja scored 32 off 58-balls without a boundary and Rahul Dravid hit 23 off 43-balls included 2-fours.

South Africa best bowler by Eddo Brandes claimed a 5-wicket haul for 41-runs in 9.5-overs including a maiden, Paul Strang and Craig Evans both took 1-wickets.

Robin Singh and Eddo Brandes shared Player of the match, Robin Singh smashed a match-saving quick-fire 48 off 31-balls, while Eddo Brandes claimed a 5-wicket haul for 41-runs.
