  • Sanath Jayasuriya became the second Sri Lankan batsman to scored six centuries in ODIs after Aravinda de Silva's 10-hundreds.
  • This is the first instance of Sri Lanka's two batsmen were scores of hundred or more runs in their innings in one-day internationals.

Pakistan bowled out for 280 in 49.4 overs with top scorer by Ijaz Ahmed cracked a 94 off 110-balls - who fell six-run short of his century - including 5-fours & 2-sixes.

Aamer Sohail struck 70 off 82-balls including 5-fours, Shahid Afridi cracked a 39 off 45-balls included 4-fours & a six.

Saeed Anwar hit 26 off 27-balls including 2-fours & a six and Azhar Mahmood scored a run-a-ball 15-runs included one-six & a four.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Sajeewa de Silva, Chaminda Vaas both picked up 3-wickets, Muttiah Muralitharan took 2-wickets and one for Sanath Jayasuriya.

Sri Lanka chase down the target of 281 for 2 in 40 overs with top scorer by Sanath Jayasuriya hammered a unbeaten 134 off 114-balls - which was his 6th ODI hundred and his second century against Pakistan in ODIs.

Aravinda de Silva blasted a unbeaten 102 off 90-balls - which was his 10th ODI hundred and his third century against Pakistan in ODIs - including 12-fours with strike rate of 113.33 and Marvan Atapattu hit 23 off 34-balls contained 3-fours.

Pakistan best bowler by Azhar Mahmood took one-wickets for 53-runs in 8-overs.

Sanath Jayasuriya named Player of the match for his match-winning sparkling 134-runs knocked off facing 114-balls including 13-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 117.54.
