Ben Stokes' all-round performance and Eoin Morgan's half-century after Moeen Ali and Chris Woakes' each two wickets helped to England convincing six-wicket victory over New Zealand and level the series 1-1 in the second ODI.

  • 69 : Mitchell Santner and Lockie Ferguson set up the record ninth-wicket partnership for New Zealand against England in One-day international, previously held by the 63-run stand between Richard Hadlee 21 and Gary Troup at Brisbane in the 1983 Benson & Hedges World Series Cup and New Zealand's seventh highest ninth-wicket stand in ODIs.
  • 88 : Eoin Morgan and Ben Stokes set up the eighth highest fourth-wicket partnership for England against New Zealand in One-day internationals.
  • Mitchell Santner's unbeaten 63 was the eighth highest score for New Zealand No.8 batsman in One-day international and the highest-score by an New Zealand No.8 batsman against England in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 60 held Lance Cairns at Manchester in 1978.
  • This is the fifth instances of New Zealand's four batsmen dismissals with run out in their innings in One-day international and This is the first such instance of New Zealand's four batsmen run-out against England in ODIs.

New Zealand scored 223 for all-out in 49.4 overs with top scorer by Mitchell Santner hammered a unbeaten 63 off 52-balls including 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 121.15.

Martin Guptill scored 50 off 87-balls including 7-fours, Colin de Grandhomme cracked a 38 off 40-balls included 4-fours & a six and Tom Latham 22.

England best bowler by Moeen Ali, Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes each took two wickets.

England chased 225-4 in 37.5 overs with top scorer by Ben Stokes 63 not out, Eoin Morgan struck 62 off 63-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes.

Jonny Bairstow hit 37 off 39-balls including 5-fourd & a six Jos Buttler blasted a unbeaten 36 off 20-balls included 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 180.

New Zealand best bowler by Trent Boult took 2-wickets and one for Colin Munro and Lockie Ferguson.

Ben Stokes named Player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to scored unbeaten 63 off 74-balls including 7-fours & a six after taking two-wickets for 42-runs in 8-overs and two run outs.
