AB de Villiers' record-breaking 176 and Hashim Amla's 85 sets up to South Africa massive 104-run victory over Bangladesh and took an unassailable 2-0 lead to seal the series in the second ODI.

  • AB de Villiers plundered 176 - the fourth highest score for South Africa in One-day international and the highest-score by an South African batsman against Bangladesh in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of unbeaten 168 held by Quinton de Kock at Kimberley in this series' first ODI.
  • South Africa's 353 was their second highest score against Bangladesh in One-day international and the highest team total at Boland Park in ODIs, previous highest was 351 by India against Kenya in 2001.

South Africa scored mammoth total of 353-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by AB de Villiers 176, which was his 25th ODI hundred and his first century against Bangladesh in ODIs.

Hashim Amla struck 85 off 92-balls including four boundaries, Quinton de Kock scored 46 off 61-balls included a boundary and JP Duminy hit a run-a-ball 30-runs.

Bangladesh best bolwer by Rubel Hossain claimed a four-wicket haul for 62-runs in 10 overs and Shakib Al Hasan took 2-wickets.

Bangladesh scored 249 for all-out in 47.5 overs with top scorer by Imrul Kayes struck 68 off 77-balls including 6-fours & a six.

Mushfiqur Rahim scored 60 off 70-balls including 4-fours & a six, Mahmudullah hit 35 off 46-balls included 3-fours, Tamim Iqbal 23 and Sabbir Rahman 17.

SouthAfrica best bowler by Andile Phehlukwayo claimed a four-wicket haul for 40-runs in 10 overs, Imran Tahir, Dwaine Pretorius both took two-wickets and one for Dane Paterson.

AB de Villiers named Player of the match for his sensational batting performance to scored a career-best blazing 176-runs knocked off facing 104-balls including 15 fours and 7-sixes with strike rate of 169.23.
