Ravichandran Ashwin's four-for before An unbeaten half-century from Rohit Sharma led to India's record nine-wicket victory over United Arab Emirates in a one-sided game of the 21st match of a World Cup.

  • India chased 103 was their sixth lowest successful run-chase in One-day international and It was their lowest chase in World Cups, previous lowest chase was 121 against Sri Lanka at Leeds in the inaugural World Cup.
  • India's 9-wicket win was their joint second largest victory by terms of wickets remaining in One-day international, it is their 16th time win by nine wickets and their biggest win in World Cup history.
  • UAE's 102 was their lowest total in One-day international, previous lowest was 109 against Pakistan at Gujranwala in the 1996 World Cup and the lowest-total by any side against India in World Cups, previous lowest was 109 by Sri Lanka at Johannesburg in the 2003 World Cup.

UAE scored 102 for all-out in 31.3 overs with top scorer by Shaiman Anwar struck 35 off 49-balls including 6-fours, Khurram Khan 14 and Manjula Guruge 10.

India best bowler by Ravichandran Ashwin 4-25, Umesh Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja both took 2-wickets and one for Mohit Sharma - Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

India chased 104-1 in 18.5 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma scored a unbeaten 57 off 55-balls including 10-fours & a six.

Virat Kohli 33 not out and Shikhar Dhawan 14.

UAE best bowler by Mohammad Naveed took one-wicket for 35-runs from five-overs.

Ravichandran Ashwin named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 25-runs in 10-overs.
