All-round Yuvraj Singh's five-wickets with a unbeaten half-century, Zaheer Khan's three-for, Thirties from Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Yusuf Pathan helped to India hard-fought five-wicket victory over Ireland in a tight-game of the 22nd match of a World Cup.


* India improved their record at Chinnaswamy Stadium to 12 wins from 18 matches. They have lost only four matches and tied one. They have not lost a single match in World Cups at Bangalore.

* Yuvraj Singh's 5 for 31 his best bowling performance for India in One-day international, It is the best bowling figures by an Indian bowler against Ireland in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 3 for 29 held by Piyush Chawla at Belfast in 2007 and the joint third best bowling figures by Indian bowler in World Cups, jointly 5 for 31 held by Robin Singh against Sri Lanka at Taunton in the 1999 World Cup.
* Yuvraj Singh became the fifth Indian bowler to claimed a 5-wicket haul in World Cups.

* 113 : William Porterfield and Niall O'Brien set up the record third-wicket partnership for Ireland in One-day international, previously held by the 89-run stand between Andre Botha and Niall O'Brien against Netherlands in 2008 and also the Ireland's record third-wicket stand in World Cups.

* Yuvraj Singh become the third Indian player to take five wickets and score fifty or more runs in a match in One-day international after Kris Srikkanth and Sourav Ganguly.

* Yuvraj Singh became first player to pick up five wickets and score a half-century in a match in World Cup history.

* 67 :  MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh set up their 20th fifty-plus partnership in ODIs. Their average of 48.90 is the third highest among all Indian batting pairs who have aggregated over 2000 runs.

Ireland scored 207 for all-out in 47.5 overs with top scorer by William Porterfield struck 75 off 104-balls including 6-fours & a six.

Niall O'Brien cracked a 46 off 78-balls including 3-fours, Alex Cusack 24 and Trent Johnston 17.

India best bowler by Yuvraj Singh 5-31, Zaheer Khan picked up 3-wickets and one for Munaf Patel.

India chased 210-5 in 46 overs with top scorer by Yuvraj Singh 50 not out, Sachin Tendulkar struck 36 off 56-balls including 4-fours, Virat Kohli hit 34 off 53-balls including 3-fours.

MS Dhoni scored 34 off 50-balls including 2-fours and Yusuf Pathan cracked a unbeaten 30 off 24-balls included 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 125.
Ireland best bowler by Trent Johnston and George Dockrell both took 2-wickets.

Yuvraj Singh named Player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to scored a unbeaten 50 off 75-balls including 3-fours after claiming a career-best 5-wicket haul for 31-runs in 10-overs.
