Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard sets up to West Indies' record 74-run victory over Australia, despite a George Bailey's assault and first time enter into the finals in the second semi-final of a World Twenty20.

George Bailey hammered a 23-ball sixth fastest fifty for Australia in T20 internationals. West Indies's 205 was their joint third highest score in T20 international, It is their highest total against Australia in ODIs, previous highest was 191 at same venue in this tournament and the joint-fifth highest-score in World Twenty20. Australia's 131 was their joint fifth highest score in T20 international and It is their worst total in World Twenty20.

West Indies scored 205-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Chris Gayle 75 not out, Pollard blasted a 38 off 15-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 253.33.

Dwayne Bravo struck 37 off 31-balls included 3-sixes & a four and Marlon Samuels cracked a 26 off 20-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours.

Australia best bowler by Pat Cummins takes two-wickets and one for Mitchell Starc - Xavier Doherty.

Australia scored 131 for all-out in 16.4 overs with top scorer by George Bailey blasted a 63 off 29-balls including 6-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 217.24 and Michael Hussey 18.

West Indies best bowler by Ravi Rampaul picked up 3-wickets for 16-runs in 3.4-overs, Kieron Pollard takes 2-wickets for 6-runs in 1-overs, Sunil Narine, Samuel Badree both took two-wickets and one for Marlon Samuels.

Chris Gayle named Player of the match for his rapid unbeaten 75-runs knocked off facing 41-balls including 6-sixes and 5-fours with strike rate of 182.92.
