Marlon Samuels and Darren Sammy gives West Indies comprehensive 36-run victory over Sri Lanka and clinch the their first ICC World Twenty20 title in a low-scoring game of the final of a ICC World Twenty20.

West Indies scored 137-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Marlon Samuels 78, Darren Sammy blasted a unbeaten 25 off 15-balls including 3-fours with strike rate of 173.33 and Dwayne Bravo 19.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Ajantha Mendis claimed 4-wicket haul for 12-runs in 4-overs, Akila Dhananjay and Angelo Mathews each took one-wickets.
Sri Lanka scored 101 for all-out in 18.4 overs with top scorer by Mahela Jayawardene struck 33 off 36-balls including 2-fours, Nuwan Kulasekara blasted a 26 off 13-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 200 and Kumar Sangakkara 22.
West Indies best bowler by Sunil Narine picked up 3-wickets for 9-runs in 3.4 overs, Darren Sammy takes 2-wickets for 6-runs in 2-overs, Marlon Samuels, Ravi Rampaul and Samuel Badree each took one-wickets.
Marlon Samuels named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took one-wicket for 15-runs in 4-overs after a scoring quick-fire 78 off 56-balls including 6-sixes and 3-fours with strike rate of 139.28.
Shane Watson named Player of the series for leading run-scorer, contributing 249-runs including 3-fifties with average of 49.80.
