England star batsman Joe Root smashed a match-winning record-breaking career-best unbeaten 133-runs knocked off facing 129-balls including 11-fours and a six helped to England chase the 306 against Bangladesh in the opening match of a Champions Trophy.

* Joe Root's 133* was his highest score for England in One-day international, It is the third highest-score by an England batsman against Bangladesh in ODIs and the highest-score by an England batsman in Champions Trophy (KnockOut), surpassing the previous record of 119 held by Marcus Trescothick against Zimbabwe at Colombo (RPS) in 2002.
Joe Root who slammed his 10th One-day international century, which was his first hundred against Bangladesh in ODIs, his first ODI hundred in Champions Trophy (KnockOut) and his 100 came from 115-balls.
