Bangladesh star opener batsman Tamim Iqbal scored a record-breaking 128-runs knocked off facing 142-balls including 12-fours and 3-sixes helped to Bangladesh set up the massive total of 305 against England in the opening match of a ICC Champions Trophy.

* Tamim Iqbal's 128 was the joint fifth highest score for Bangladesh in One-day international, jointly with Mahmudullah, It is the highest-score by an Bangladesh batsman against England in ODIs, surpassing the his own record of 125 at Dhaka in 2010 and also the highest-score by an Bangladesh batsman in Champions Trophy (KnockOut), surpassing the previous record of unbeaten 123 held by Shahriar Nafees against Zimbabwe at Jaipur in 2006.
Tamim Iqbal who struck his 9th One-day international century - which was his second hundred against England in ODIs, his first ODI hundred in Champions Trophy (KnockOut) and his 100 came from 124-balls.
