England scored 271-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Nick Knight 105 off 131-balls - which was his 4th ODI hundred and his first century against India in ODIs - including seven boundaries.
Andrew Flintoff hammered a 52 off 39-balls including 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 133.33, Nasser Hossain 49 off 71-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - included four boundaries.
Marcus Trescothick struck 35 off 40-balls including 5-fours.
India best bowler by Ajit Agarkar took 2-wickets and one for Sachin Tendulkar - Javagal Srinath.
India scored 269-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Sourav Ganguly struck 74 off 95-balls including 5-fours & 3-sixes.
Mohammad Kaif scored 46 off 64-balls including 4-fours, Virender Sehwag hammered a 42 off 36-balls included 7-fours with strike rate of 116.67.
Ajit Agarkar blasted a unbeaten 36 off 24-balls including 4-fours with strike rate of 150, Dinesh Mongia 20 and Sachin Tendulkar 18.
England best bowler by Ashley Giles 5-57, Andy Caddick, Andrew Flintoff and Darren Gough each took one-wickets.
Ashley Giles named Player of the match for his excellent spin bowling performance to claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 57-runs in 10-overs.
