David Warner's rapid half-century, Yuvraj Singh's quick-fire 38 and Ben Cutting's all-round display before Bhuvneshwar Kumar holds nerve as Sunrisers Hyderabad tense 8-run victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore, despite a Chris Gayle's power-hitting 38-ball 76 and lift the their first IPL title in a high-scoring game of the final of a Indian Premier League.

Sunrisers Hyderabad became the sixth team to win the IPL title. Sunrisers Hyderabad's 208 was the highest score ever in a IPL final, surpassing the previous record of 205 by Chennai Super Kings also against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Chennai on the 28th May 2011 IPL final. Sunrisers Hyderabad's 208 was their highest score in Indian Premier League history, previous highest was 205 against Kings XI Punjab at Hyderabad in the 2014 IPL edition. Royal Challengers Bangalore's 200 was their joint 11th highest score in Indian Premier League and It is their second highest total against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL after their 227 at same venue earlier in this season. David Warner equalled a 24-ball his third joint fourth fastest fifty in Indian Premier League and his joint fourth fastest fifty for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL. Chris Gayle hammered a 25-ball his third fastest fifty for Royal Challengers Bangalore in Indian Premier League and the fastest fifty by an Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL, surpassing the previous record of 26-ball half-century held by AB de Villiers at same venue earlier in this season.

SRH scored massive total of 208-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by David Warner hammered a 69 off 38-balls including 8-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 181.57.

Ben Cutting hammered a unbeaten 39 off 15-balls including 4-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 260, Yuvraj Singh blasted a 38 off 23-balls included 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike-rate of 165.21 and Shikhar Dhawan struck 28 off 25-balls contained 3-fours & a six.

RCB best bowler by Chris Jordan picked up 3-wickets for 45-runs in 4-overs, Sreenath Aravind took 2-wickets and one for Yuzvendra Chahal.

RCB scored 200-7 in the allotted 20 overs with top scorer by Chris Gayle hammered a 76 off 38-balls including 8-sixes & 4-fours with strike rate of 200.

Virat Kohli blasted a 54 off 35-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 154.28 and Sachin Baby hit a unbeaten 18 off 10-balls contained one-six & a four with strike rate of 180.

SRH best bowler by Ben Cutting captured two-wickets, Bipul Sharma, Mustafizur Rahman and Barinder Sran each took one-wickets.

Ben Cutting named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took 2-wickets for 35-runs in 4-overs after smashing a power-hitting unbeaten 39 off 15-balls including 4-sixes and 3-sixes with strike rate of 260.

Virat Kohli earned player of the tournament for contributing 953-runs including 4-centuries and 7-fifties with average of 81.08.
