India clinch the three-match series with 1-0 after a rain-hit rare tie in the third T20 international.

Match Stats : 
  • New Zealand's 160 was their seventh highest score against India at their home venue in T20 international and It is their fourth highest total at McLean Park in T20Is.
  • New Zealand lost their last seven wickets for just 14-runs - which was their worst seven-wicket collapse in T20 international. They went from 146 for 3 to 160 for all out. Their previous worst such collapse was seven for 22-runs against Pakistan at Dubai in 2018.
  • Mohammed Siraj's 4 for 17 was his best bowling performance for India in T20 international and the second best bowling figures by an Indian bowler against New Zealand in T20Is after Deepak Hooda's 4 for 10 in this series' second T20I.
  • Arshdeep Singh's 4 for 37 was his best bowling performance for India in T20 international and the third best bowling figures by an Indian bowler against New Zealand in T20Is.
  • This is the third instances of match tied with scores level on DLS par score, previous other two such instances came between Netherlands and Malaysia in 2021 in the Nepal T20I tri-series and Gibraltar and Malta, also in 2021, during a bilateral T20I series. 

New Zealand scored 160 for all-out in 19.4 overs with top scorer by Devon Conway cracked a 59 off 49-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes.

Glenn Phillips hammered a 54 off 33-balls including 5-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 163.63, Mark Chapman scored a run-a-ball 12-runs included 2-fours and Daryl Mitchell hit 10 off 5-balls including 2-fours.

India best bowler by Mohammed Siraj 4-17, Arshdeep Singh claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 37-runs in 4-overs and Harshal Patel took one-wicket.

India scored 75-4 in 9 overs and game ends a tie - due to rain DLS par score 75 after 9 overs India at par score when the rain-thrash the match.

India top scorer by Hardik Pandya hammered a unbeaten 30 off 18-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 166.66.

Suryakumar Yadav scored 13 off 10-balls including one-six & a four and Rishabh Pant hit 11 off 5-balls included 2-fours.

New Zealand best bowler by Tim Southee took 2-wickets and one for Ish Sodhi - Adam Milne.

Mohammed Siraj named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 17-runs in 4-overs.

Suryakumar Yadav earned player of the series for contributing 124-runs in the three-match series.
