England scored 212 for all-out in 44.5 overs with top scorer by Graham Gooch struck 74 off 85-balls including 9-fours & a six.

Keith Fletcher cracked a 38 off 48-balls including three boundaries, Geoff Cook scored 32 off consuming 81-balls included a boundary and Mike Gatting hit 18 off 13-balls including one-six & a four.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Ashantha de Mel, Ajit de Silva both took 2-wickets and one for Bandula Warnapua - Somachandra De Silva.

Sidath Wettimuny named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a career-best unbeaten 86-runs knocked off facing 109-balls including eight boundaries.
