Australia scored 242-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Mark Waugh struck 71 off 99-balls, Mark Taylor cracked a 63 off 100-balls including 4-fours.

Allan Border hit a unbeaten 40 off 47-balls including 4-fours, Steve Waugh struck 23 off 22-balls included 3-fours and Ian Healy scored 26 off 22-balls contained a boundary.

South Africa best bowler by Craig Matthews claimed a 4-wickets for 47-runs in 10-overs and Eric Simons took one-wicket.

South Africa 206-5 in the allotted 50 overs with top scorer by Andrew Hudson cracked a 62 off 92-balls including 6-fours.

Adrian Kuiper hit a unbeaten 38 off 45-balls including 3-fours, Hansie Cronje scored 37 off 64-balls included 2-fours and Jonty Rhodes hit 35 off 46-balls contained one-six & a four.

Australia best bowler by Shane Warne picked up 3-wickets for 31-runs in 10-overs with economy rate of 3.10, Paul Reiffel and Mark Waugh both took one-wickets.

Mark Waugh named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored 71 off 99-balls including 5-fours.
