India chased 161-5 in 41.3 overs with top scorer by Navjot Sidhu scored 67 off 108-balls, Mohammad Azharuddin hit 32 off 28-balls including 2-sixes & a four.

Kapil Dev scored a unbeaten 27 off 41-balls including one-six & a four and Dilip Vengsarkar 15.

New Zealand best bowler by Willie Watson captured two-wickets, Evan Gray, Chris Kuggeleijn and John Bracewell each took one-wickets.

Navjot Sidhu named Player of the match for his match-winning fine 67 off 108-balls including 2-fours and a six.
