Gary Kirsten cracked a 87 off 111-balls including 8-fours & a six and Hansie Cronje hit 37 off 36-balls contained 3-fours & a six.

Pakistan best bowler by Saleem Malik, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis each took one-wickets.

Pakistan bundled out for 109 in 32.3 overs with top scorer by Wasim Akram cracked a 26 off 42-balls including a boundary.

Asif Mujtaba scored 24 off 57-balls including a four and Inzamam-ul-Haq hit a run-a-ball 19-runs contained 3-fours & a six.

South Africa best bowler by Fanie de Villiers picked up 3-wickets for 21-runs in 7-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 3, Allan Donald captured three-wickets for 25-runs in 8-overs included two maidens with economy rate of 3.12, Eric Simons took 2-wickets and one for Hansie Cronje.

Mike Rindel named Player of the match for his magnificent batting performance to scored a career-best 106-runs knocked off facing 139-balls including 9-fours.

Aamer Sohail earned player of the series for contributing 432 runs with average of 54 in the tournament.
