  • 53* : Shubman Gill and KL Rahul set up the record fourth-wicket partnership for India against Afghanistan in ODIs, previously held by the 24-run stand between Dinesh Karthik and Manish Pandey at Dubai (DICS) in the 2018 Asia Cup.

Afghanistan bowled out for 194 in 24.5 overs - match reduced from 50 to 25-overs per a side - due to rain - with top scorer by Rahmanullah Gurbaz hammered a 102 off 51-balls - which was his 9th ODI hundred and his first century against India in ODIs - including 8-sixes & 8-fours with strike rate of 200.

Hashmatullah Shahidi cracked a 27 off 30-balls including 3-fours and Azmatullah Omarzai blasted a 26 off 16-balls included 3-sixes with strike rate of 162.50.

India best bowler by Debutants Gurnoor Brar - who took 3-wickets for 27-runs on his debut ODI match, Harsh Dubey - who picked up 3-wickets for 47-runs in 5-overs on his debut ODI-match, Arshdeep Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy both took 2-wickets.

India chase down the target of 195 for 3 in 22.5 overs with top scorer by Shubman Gill blasted a unbeaten 84 off 66-balls including 11-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 127.27.

KL Rahul hammered a unbeaten 39 off 19-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 205.26, Ishan Kishan blasted a 34 off 22-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 154.54 and Rohit Sharma hit a run-a-ball 16-runs contained 2-fours & a six.

Afghanistan best bowler by Rashid Khan and Ziaur Rahman both took one-wickets.
