David Miller's record-breaking 38-ball maiden century powers to Kings XI Punjab emphatic six-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore and kept their contention for a playoff place in a high-scoring clash of the 51st match of a Indian Premier League.

David Miller hammered a 38-ball third fastest century in Indian Premier League and the fastest hundred by an Kings XI Punjab batsman in IPL, surpassing the previous record of 52-ball century held by Paul Valthaty against Chennai Super Kings at same venue in 2011 IPL. David Miller became the fourth Kings XI Punjab batsman to score a hundred in IPL after Shaun Marsh, Adam Gilchrist and Paul Valthaty. David Miller became the second Kings XI Punjab batsman to score a century against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL after Adam Gilchrist. 130* : David Miller and Rajagopal Sathish set up the record fifth-wicket partnership for Kings XI Punjab in Indian Premier League.

RCB scored 190-3 in 20 overs with top scorer by Chris Gayle hammered a 61 off 33-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 184.84.

Cheteshwar Pujara cracked a 51 off 48-balls including 8-fours, AB de Villiers hammered a unbeaten 38 off 19-balls included 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 200 and Moises Henriques hit a unbeaten 16 off 7-balls contained 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 228.57.

KXIP best bowler by Manpreet Gony took 2-wickets and one for Parvinder Awana.

KXIP chased 194-4 in 18 overs with top scorer by David Miller hammered a career-best unbeaten 101 off 38-balls - which was his 1st IPL hundred.

Rajagopal Sathish hit a unbeaten 27 off 18-balls including 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 150, Gurkeerat Singh Mann scored a run-a-ball 20-runs included 3-fours and Mandeep Singh struck 16 off 12-balls contained 3-fours.

RCB best bowler by Murali Kartik captured two-wickets and one for Ravi Rampaul - Vinay Kumar.

David Miller named Player of the match for his match-winning power-hitting batting performance to smashed a career-best unbeaten 101-runs knocked off facing 38-balls including 8-fours and 7-sixes with strike rate of 265.79.
