The BCCI announced that the remaining matches of the tournament would be played in the United Arab Emirates in September and October 2021. The schedule for the remainder of the tournament was released on 25th July 2021.
On 15th October 2021, Chennai Super Kings beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 27 runs in the final to win their fourth IPL title.
